Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 21, 2026

Welcome to Zoe Blogs (https://zoeblogs.com). Your privacy matters to me. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you visit this website, how it is used, who it may be shared with, and the choices you have. By using this site, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information I Collect

Information you give me

  • Comments: your name, email address, website (optional) and the comment itself.
  • Contact messages: your name, email address and anything you write in your message.
  • Newsletter or freebie sign-ups (if offered): your name and email address.

Information collected automatically

When you visit, some information is collected automatically by the site, its hosting provider and third-party services, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, time spent on pages and the date and time of your visit. Much of this is collected through cookies and similar technologies.

2. How I Use Your Information

  • To run, maintain and improve the website and its content.
  • To reply to your messages and comments.
  • To send emails you have signed up for (you can unsubscribe at any time).
  • To understand how visitors use the site, through analytics.
  • To show advertising that helps keep this blog free.
  • To protect the site from spam, fraud and security issues.

I do not sell your personal information.

3. Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. This site and its partners use cookies to remember your preferences, keep the site working, measure traffic and serve ads. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some parts of the site may not work properly if you do.

4. Google AdSense and the DoubleClick Cookie

This website uses (or may use) Google AdSense to show advertisements. Google is a third-party vendor that uses cookies to serve ads on this site.

  • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website and/or other websites on the internet.
  • Google’s use of advertising cookies, including the DoubleClick cookie, enables Google and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
  • You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
  • You can also opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalised advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info (and www.youronlinechoices.eu in Europe).

To learn more about how Google uses data, please see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

5. Third-Party Vendors and Ad Networks

In addition to Google, this site may work with other third-party ad networks or vendors in the future. These companies may use cookies, web beacons and similar technologies to collect information about your visits to this and other websites in order to provide relevant ads and measure their performance. I do not control these third-party cookies, and their use is governed by each company’s own privacy policy. If a new ad network is added, this policy will be updated.

Ads shown on this site are not endorsements. Please use your own judgment before clicking or buying.

6. Analytics

This site may use Google Analytics and similar tools to understand how visitors find and use the site (for example, which posts are popular). These tools use cookies to collect information such as pages visited and time spent, in a form that does not directly identify you. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

7. Affiliate Links

Some posts contain affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase, I may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate partners may use cookies to track that a sale came from this site. See the Affiliate Disclosure for details.

8. Comments

When you leave a comment, the information in the comment form and your IP address and browser user agent are collected to help detect spam. An anonymised string created from your email address (a “hash”) may be sent to the Gravatar service to check whether you use it. Once your comment is approved, your name, comment and profile picture (if any) are visible publicly. You can ask me to remove your comment at any time.

9. Embedded Content

Posts may include embedded content (for example, Pinterest pins or videos). Embedded content behaves the same way as if you visited the other website, and those sites may collect data about you, use cookies and track your interaction with that content.

10. Data Retention and Security

Comments and their metadata are kept until you ask for them to be removed. Contact messages are kept only as long as needed to reply. Reasonable measures, including HTTPS, are used to protect your information, but no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

11. Your Rights Under the GDPR (EEA and UK Visitors)

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right to:

  • access the personal data I hold about you;
  • ask for it to be corrected or deleted;
  • restrict or object to its processing;
  • request a copy of your data (data portability);
  • withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent;
  • complain to your local data protection authority.

Personal data is processed on the basis of your consent (for example, cookies for personalised ads, where a consent banner is shown), legitimate interests (running and securing the site) or to respond to your requests. Visitors from the EEA and UK will be asked for consent before personalised ad cookies are used, through a Google-certified consent management platform.

12. Your Rights Under the CCPA/CPRA (California Residents)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion of it, to correct it, and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. I do not sell personal information for money, but the use of advertising cookies may count as “sharing” under California law. You can opt out using Google Ads Settings, www.aboutads.info, or by enabling Global Privacy Control in your browser. You will not be treated differently for using these rights.

13. Children’s Privacy

Although this blog shares activities for families and kids, the website itself is meant for parents and adults. I do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA). If you believe a child has shared personal information here, please contact me and it will be deleted.

14. Links to Other Websites

This site links to other websites. I am not responsible for their content or privacy practices, so please read their policies.

15. Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date.

16. Contact

If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy or want to use any of your rights, please contact me at millichili498@gmail.com or through the Contact page.
